Chevy 21’s “Giving Back” Charitable Strategy


 

On behalf of our owner, and Chevy 21 employees, we want to share with our customers how we are mindful of what has been entrusted to us as a local business. We do this is by keeping in perspective how we can intentionally make a difference in the Lehigh Valley. Our core values keep us on target to be socially responsible!  We have a strategy in place called “Chevy 21’s Giving Back” for this purpose.

Each month, Chevy 21's Community Development Department researches and then partners with a local non-profit organization that is making a real impact in various sectors of our community. We donate proceeds from the sale of each vehicle for the month as well as special volunteer employee participation. So, every time one of our customers purchases from Chevy 21, they are also helping build sustainability and support for these organizations that, in this economy, often struggle to meet the needs of those they are passionate about and equipped to help.

A special thank you to all of our non-profit partners and customers who, together with us, are helping make a difference in the Lehigh Valley!  We are doing more, together!

May 2012 - Pediatric Cancer Foundation of Lehigh Valley:  PCFLV is a local organization focused on making a difference in the lives of children diagnosed with cancer  & their families through ongoing programming, support, and resources which enable children to LIVE!  Monthly family events, date nights & spa days for caregivers, Annual Kick for Kancer soccer day camp, Chemo Circus (hospital based programs which combat stressors of treatment and more!)

April 2012 - Country Gate Players Inc:  A local theatre group promoting youth in theatre as well as covering the gamit of drama, comedy, musicals, as well as children's productions.  Summer workshops are conducted for young actors in the community & many of these youngsters have gone on to perform in their adult lives.
